About

I transform layered data into clear tools that people rely on. Making it navigable is the job. A well-designed product should feel legible at a glance, even when the systems beneath it are complex. I have done this as a product designer for seven years, now as Founding Product Designer and the only designer on a twelve-person team, owning design across products in daily production use, from field research to the front end.

Earlier in that arc: agency work, telecom, freelance, and three years of client-facing UX and strategy work across industries, including a banking engagement in digital communications. That work leaned more on transferable design skills and structured thinking than on hands-on product ownership, but it shaped how I work inside other constraints.

My instinct for structure comes from literature and philosophy. Both are training in how to read complex material, reason about how information is organized, and stay with a problem until its shape emerges.

Knowing what to build comes first. Good design is people-centered. In a time that almost anything can be built, one of the skills that matters most is knowing what to build. I start in the field, talking to people and watching how they work to find friction points. In the products I own, what looked like an interface problem was a model problem underneath: what a reading means in context, who does which job, how a price gets set. I work out that logic on paper and whiteboards before touching a screen.

I design and I ship. I write specifications engineers can build from and prototype directly in code, using AI to accelerate the frontend. This unblocks development, tests ideas at full fidelity, and often moves faster than words alone. Agents accelerate the process, but do not replace the groundwork. I stay with the work after launch, because production is where the hard problems surface and refinement begins.

I work well alone, and better with a team. Deep, focused solo work moves things forward, but I believe great products are built in collaboration.
